St. Joseph Scholarship Recipients

2024 Recipients

Max Volanski

"As a 2024 St. Joseph Scholarship recipient, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your support of this amazing initiative.

I became interested in manufacturing in high school and started my own business fabricating sheet metal parts for various professional industries including automotive, aerospace, and medical.

With the scholarship, I purchased a laser engraver which allows me to efficiently mark custom parts in-house.

Although I am not in a traditional trade school, I am always learning new skills. I enjoy working with my hands while using intellect and technology to create efficient processes.

As someone who enjoys creating and learning new things but doesn't really fit the mold of a traditional college student, I am grateful for your support of young people who have chosen to learn a trade.

Thank you for the encouragement you offer through the St. Joseph Scholarship!

In Christ, Max Volanski"

Matthew Leachman

"The SJA Scholarship was the most helpful program in helping me finish school, as it not only covered the rest of my tuition but also allowed me to replace necessary equipment and buy my own welding machine. I thank God for his providence and all those who donated for their participation.

I graduated Texas State Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science in Welding Technology on December 17th 2024."
